Wendy Crane is the author of The Scandal of Virginia Grey, a fiction based on the true events of her life's story. Wendy’s primary occupation for over 30 years has been as a legal and administrative assistant. To satisfy her creative bent, however, Wendy enjoys creative writing and has been involved in music in one way or another most of her life. As singer/songwriters, Wendy and her husband, Maurice (Reese) Crane, both individually and jointly have released several albums.
Sam captured Virginia’s attention in unforeseen ways. Each battling their own personal demons, they found common sanctuary in one another. However, from the soil of commonality, the seeds of Forbidden Love grew into unbridled betrayal.
If asked the question, “Where do you see yourself in five years?”, Virginia Grey most definitely would have NEVER answered “as the other woman in a scandalous marital affair.” Never in a million years could she have envisioned her life’s trajectory upon meeting ‘not-so-happily-married’ Sam Novak.
Virginia thought she could escape the triggers of her past by moving from New York City to the small town of Hopeland, Tennessee. But the ghosts of past indiscretions followed her everywhere.
